2012 Certification
Each of our agents is required to complete 2012 product certification. Start online certification early to make sure you complete all necessary training in order to be prepared to sell for the shortened selling season in 2012. The AHIP Certification fee is $150. However, certain discounts may be available per carrier as noted below. We will continue to update this page as new information is available.

NEW 2012 Universal Healthcare Online Certification Available (Added 8/31)
All writing agents must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Online certification – click here to log into your agent portal
2. Universal requires all agents to attend a mandatory face-to-face training before being approved to represent Universal. Training is being held throughout service areas. Reserve now to ensure seating. Call 877-717-1566.
3. Agents must be appointed in each state PRIOR to enrollments. Click univhc.com for information on licenses.

Humana Producer Training is now site available . (added 7/21)
Please be advised that Humana’s annual on-line agent certification training will begin on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 and must be completed by Friday, September 16, 2011. La version en Español de AHIP 2012 estará disponible el 16 de August de 2011.

Aetna 2012 Certification is now available.
In addition to a $50 Aetna discount, Aetna will reimburse Agents for the $100 registration fee if they complete the following requirements by September 15:
- Pass all 4 certification requirements.
- Complete all license and appointment requirements.
- Attend a local training session – Sign up through the certification website starting August 1!

Coventry 2012 Certification is now available.
Visit Coventry’s Broker Portal to begin your certification.
Please note: Agents will receive a $50 discount if they complete certification through Coventry instead of going directly through AHIP. Agents who certify with Coventry on or before September 30, 2011 will be eligible to receive the $100 AHIP training registration fee for reimbursement. HealthSpring/Bravo Agent Certification Requirements – Download PDF file with additional instructions
2012 AEP training has three parts: Part 1) complete AHIP online modules, 2) complete HealthSpring/Bravo AEP Online Modules and Part 3) AEP face-to-face training. There will be shorter recertification courses for existing contracted agents and an all day face-to-face training for brand new contracted agents. Both Online training courses must be completed to proceed to face-to-face training.
